If you need to work as a Linux network engineer , you mush study hard and practice all of the following topics :
1- OSI Model and TCP/IP “main concept”
2- all network principles like configuration, routing, and diagnosis from Linux point of view.
3- main differences between daemons and services.
4- Deploying DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP,HTTPS,OpenLDAP,FreeRadius, NFS, SAMBA, and Proxy services .
5- How to secure all of these daemons using a lot of techniques like TCP-Wrappers, Iptables or firewalld, PAM, and SELinux.
That’s enough ..but you must practice all of these practically not academically ..
